Room 307, Thursday afternoonish

Pete was in a positively gleeful mood.

He also still had a crossbow bolt sticking out of his forehead just underneath the brim of his hat.

He'd just been expelled, and he couldn't be happier.

He was packing away his meager belongings and debating whether or not it was worth it to try and bring the laptop so he could play more Oregon Trail on his ride home, all while whistling "Turkey in the Straw" cheerfully to himself.

[ooc: door and post is open for your last chance to interact with Pete Hutter before he rides off into the sunset. Be aware, if he didn't like you, he will mock you greatly, since he knows he never has to see you again.]

"What are you whistling about?" Schrodinger asked.

He could hear it up in his room.

"Dang. I was looking forward to making your life miserable."

"Disappointment is only a problem for impatient people."

[identity profile] cat-in-the-box.livejournal.com 2006-12-22 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
Schrodinger tilted his head to the side. "And what do you tell yourself to keep getting up in the morning?"

[identity profile] cat-in-the-box.livejournal.com 2006-12-22 03:19 am (UTC)(link)
"You've got an arrow in you," Schrodinger said.

[identity profile] cat-in-the-box.livejournal.com 2006-12-22 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
"Guilty as charged," Schrodinger said, approaching Pete. "You don't mind if I play with that, then?"

[identity profile] cat-in-the-box.livejournal.com 2006-12-22 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
"No. The arrow. In your head."

[identity profile] cat-in-the-box.livejournal.com 2006-12-22 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
Schrodinger rolled his eyes and leaned forward to twist the arrow in Pete's head.

[identity profile] cat-in-the-box.livejournal.com 2006-12-22 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
Schrodinger grinned ferally at Pete and pounced at him, faster than any human had a right to move.

[identity profile] cat-in-the-box.livejournal.com 2006-12-22 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
Schrodinger caught the hit across the skull and flew into the wall.

There was a very nasty audible CRACK as his neck snapped.

Weiss came into the room. "Heading home for the holidays?"

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/weissguy_/ 2006-12-22 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
"Dude. What'd you do to get expelled?" Weiss asked. He glanced at the arrow. "Never mind. Don't want to know."

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/weissguy_/ 2006-12-22 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, they're kinda crazy about that killing people thing around here. Completely lame, I know," Weiss deadpanned.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/weissguy_/ 2006-12-22 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
Weiss's tone wasn't dry -- it was arid. "No idea. What's the world coming to, really?"

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/weissguy_/ 2006-12-22 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
"Well, good luck, dude. Have fun... shooting people," Weiss said.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/weissguy_/ 2006-12-22 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
"Dude... thanks," Weiss took the present. "Let me... one second." He put the laptop on his bed and flipped open his trunk. "Ah. Here we go. Some of the stuff in here came with the trunk and I think you're going to need it more than me..." He held out a small leather kit. "For polishing steel. I think it was my great-grandfather's."

"Let's not get emo, dude," Eric said. "Room 307 is a no-emo zone."

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/weissguy_/ 2006-12-22 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
"I appreciate it. Well, uh, I'll just be on the bed listening to tunes. Let me know if you need help with anything," Weiss said.

Walter wandered by and stopped, doubletaking at the very welcome sight of an arrow in Pete's head.

[identity profile] walter-n-wires.livejournal.com 2006-12-22 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
Never seeing....

"You're leaving?" Yes, Walter looked pleased.

[identity profile] walter-n-wires.livejournal.com 2006-12-22 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
"Outstanding!" Walter exclaimed. "And Happy Christmas to me!"

[identity profile] walter-n-wires.livejournal.com 2006-12-22 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
Walter chortled. "You weren't even a warmup for fighting a marshmallow."

[identity profile] walter-n-wires.livejournal.com 2006-12-22 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
"You were such an amazing disappointment." Walter said it without rancor, eyes following the bobbing arrow in Pete's forehead. "I didn't even bruise my knuckles laying you out."

[identity profile] walter-n-wires.livejournal.com 2006-12-22 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
"You were unconscious."

Bob. Bob. Bob.
